Then visit to Anthropology Museum, one of the most important in the world. You may stay on your own or go back to your hotel. We suggest an optional tour to Xochimilco’s water canals. Overnight.

Day 1: Mexico City

Arrival at Mexico City airport. Assistance and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 02 : City Tour & Anthropology Museum

In the morning, visit to the Main Square: Zócalo, Cathedral, Government Palace, Diego Rivera’s murals. We will continue to Reforma Avenue and Chapultepec. Then visit to Anthropology Museum, one of the most important in the world. You may stay on your own or go back to your hotel. We suggest an optional tour to Xochimilco’s water canals. Overnight.

Day 3 : Visit To The Pyramids Of Teotihuacán & Shrine Of Guadalupe

Excursion to TEOTIHUACAN, (“Where Men become Gods”), mystical archaeological zone where the Aztecs believed the Sun, the Moon and the whole Universe had been created. It is located 31 miles northeast of Mexico City. Teotihuacán was a political, commercial and religious center which, when at its peak, was inhabited by more than 200,000 people. Among its most interesting constructions are the awesome Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl (“Feathered Snake”). This culture that produced this magnificent city originated in the first century A.D., reached its peak between the 3rd and 4th centuries and then, unexplainably declined and the site was abandoned. In the afternoon, on the way back to Mexico City, we will stop at the BASILICA DE GUADALUPE, dedicated to Saint Mary, the most visited shrine of Latin America. Overnight.

Day 04 : : Mexico – Puebla – Oaxaca

Departure to Puebla the “City of Angels” visiting Santa Maria Tonantzintla, temple gorgeously decorated by indigenous hands. On our arrival to Puebla, we will visit the Rosario’s Chapel, the Cathedral, the Main Square and the Historical Downtown. Continuation to Oaxaca for overnight.

Day 5 : Oaxaca – Monte Alban – Mitla & Tule Tree

During the morning visit to Monte Alban, a great archeological site to behold that was built on a mountain top, where we will admire different culture manifestations such as Olmecs, Mixtecs and Zapotecs: the Main Square, the Observatory, Tomb # 7 and the Stones of the Dancers. Later, we will continue to Mitla, one of the most enigmatic sacred places. The village had a great importance as a burial site. The buildings are decorated with symbolic mosaics. In route we are going to find the Tule Tree, perhaps one of the biggest living beings in the world. Return to Oaxaca and visit its beautiful city, including the Cathedral, the magnificent Santo Domingo church and Gold museum. Overnight.

Day 6 : Oaxaca – Sumidero Canyon -San Cristobal

Early morning, departure to Tuxtla Gutierrez, capital city of the State of Chiapas. You will enjoy the landscapes of the southern mountains. Transfer by boat to the Sumidero Park. If time permits, we will walk by the eco-tourist park; enjoy the swimming pool or the “Tyrolese” (optional). Boat ride through the Sumidero Canyon, with 1,000 meters (3,300 feet) at its highest point. Afterwards, drive to San Cristobal de las Casas via Chiapa de Corzo. Overnight.

Day 7 : San Cristobal De Las Casas – Indian Villages

Visit to San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, typical native towns, where the people still keep their traditions, language, and customs, believes as well as their social structures. Sometimes you may witness traditional rituals. The Church temple, housing and clothing are very original. In the afternoon, free time at leisure. We recommend visiting this beautiful city; the Market, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo church as well as the Jade museum to view King Pakal´s tomb replica. Overnight.

Day 8 : San Cristobal De Las Casas – Agua Azul – Palenque

Drive to the Agua Azul waterfalls, to admire their turquoise colored waters. There is possibility of swimming. If the time permits it, a short stop at Misol-Ha will be made, another beautiful waterfall. Afterwards, we will continue to Palenque. Overnight.

Day 9 : Palenque – Villahermosa – Mexico City

Visit to the archaeological site of Palenque, one of the most important sites of the “Mayan World” surrounded by the jungle. Inside the Pyramid of the Inscriptions, King Pakal’s sarcophagus and its fascinating carved gravestone were found. We will view the Sun Temple, the Cross Temple & the Palace. Lunch on your own. Afterwards, transfer to Villahermosa city airport for flight to Mexico City. Flight ticket not included. Book flight departure after 5PM

Departure transfer to the MEXICO CITY International Airport
