Day 1: Maun – Nxai Pan National Park
You are collected at the airport and we drive to our camp in Nxai Pan NP Sundown game drive Your guide will meet you at the Maun International Airport or your hotel and transfer you to our base in Maun. After a briefing by your guide we head for the bush to Nxai Pan or Kumaga area, this depending on where the game is concentrated that specific time of year.
There we put up camp for the next 2 nights. We use 4.7 x 3 m ensuite Meru tents with beds. Shower, toilet and wash basin are provided and no participation is required, all tasks are done by the staff. We will arrive at the camp in time to familiarize yourself with the services offered and will have time to shower before leaving on a sundowner tour in the camp’s neighborhood. Dinner in camp and relax at the campfire.

Day 02 : Nxai Pan National Park
A visit to the famous Baines Baobabs is a feature of our program today. The early mornings and late afternoons are set aside for game viewing in the Park which is well known for its lion pride feeding around the waterhole. Depending on the season we’ll make a morning drive to the Boteti river or to the Northern part of the park. The afternoon drive is shorter and we check for early nocturnal animals like honey badger-aardvark-brown hyena.

Day 3 : Drive To Central Kalahari Game Reserve
We make an early start with coffee/tea and a healthy snack before boarding our game viewing vehicle to head off to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve following the Makgadigadi National Park’s border. Once inside the Park a game drive takes us to our camp for the night. Lunch is an extensive picnic during the day and dinner is around the campfire at our exclusive camp site. We make an afternoon game-drive in the well-known Deception Valley. Beautiful sundown before heading back to camp.

Day 04 : Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Today is spent game viewing in and around the renown Deception Valley area where we set up camp in the northern section of the Park. We leave early morning to be back in camp at lunchtime. Relax at our exclusive wilderness camp during the afternoon. Time for shower and siesta before leaving for an afternoon drive.

Day 05 : Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Today we make a full day trip in the reserve visiting Letiahau waterhole or Passarge Pan, depending on game-concentrations. Lunch is a picnic in the bush. We are back in camp by sundown and have time to shower before dinner is served. Today should make up our quota for Kalahari specials: black-mane lion and cheetah, to mark only some.

Day 06 : Game farm in the Kalahari
We leave the Central Kalahari Game Reserve to the middle of Bushmen country deep into the Kalahari where we overnight on a private game farm close to a San (Bushman) Village.We spend the afternoon walking with the bushman into the Kalahari and getting to know the traditional survival skills for which the Bushman are famous. They show us also how to make fire and dance. The area is authentic African Kalahari bush; expect encounters with game on our walks. In the evenings, pre-dinner drinks are served and after dinner drinks are enjoyed around the camp fire.

Day 07 : Kalahari On A Private Farm
We leave early on a full morning game-drive in the Northern part of the farm. We visit a viewing platform and drive past several waterholes to find animals. Lunch is served at the lodge and after time for shower and siesta we leave on an afternoon drive in the neighborhood and spend some time in a hide at a waterhole to see who comes to drink, back in the lodge by dark.

Day 08 : Depart Maun
After breakfast, we leave our lodge hosts, pack up and ease our way back to the main road and we head North. Arrival in Maun, is around noon. Lunch is enjoyed at a restaurant and followed by transfer to the airport or to your hotel in town.
