Why am I fond of travelling?
Travelling is an experience that opens one to a whole new world that is unexplored. I find travelling a joyful and an enriching experience for the very fact that it lets one constantly indulge in new things. Exploring different cultures, places, food, practices, and seeing striking monuments that tell you a tale from the history, is simply amazing. Nothing can beat being there in the midst of the nature and enjoying the weather of the place that I am in when I am travelling. When you see a totally different world compared to the place you live in, you can only wonder at the marvel that there is so much to see and indulge in.
Travelling makes you stronger and face challenges when you come across hardships during your journey. It makes one come out of the comfort zone and deal with the problem in an unknown place in adverse conditions. Travelling unfolds new aspects to life through what one sees. It widens ones’ horizon and outlook towards life, people, and provides a learning experience. As Gustav Flaubert once said, “Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.”
My fondness for travelling simply grows day by day for the opportunity that it provides to add a new perspective to everything in life. I see travelling not just a mode of relaxation and having fun but also being present in that moment and that place amidst an unseen place and people and know more about them. I look forward to those memories and stories that are everlasting when I visit a new place. What better way to explore and learn new ways of living than travelling?
