Day 1 : COLOMBO – PINNAWALA- Dambulla(90kms)

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake met by “Spiceland Colombo” representative and transfer to hotel in Kandy via Pinnawala. En route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage – Started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded, the orphanage has grown to be a big family today.  A unique experience never to be missed. Later proceed to Dambulla later day at leisure you can explore the city on your own. Overnight stay at Dambulla.

Day 02 : DAMBULLA

After breakfast at the hotel proceed for the Dambulla sightseeing Visit Dambulla cave temple, is a vast rock mass 500 feet high and a mile around the base, later visit Sigriya lion Rock is a “UNESCO World Heritage Site” later return back to the hotel and overnight stay at Dambulla.

Day 3 : DAMBULLA-KANDY-NUWARA ELIYA (165kms)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Kandy – the hill capital. Venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism’s influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple’s shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere. Later visit Temple of the sacred tooth relic(Dalada Maligawa) overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya. (Breakfast)

Day 4 : NUWARA ELIYA


After breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit the Nuwara Eliya Tea Plantation. Tea was first in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical gardens at Peradeniya. Later visit Nuwara Eliya Sita Amman Kovli and proceed to visit Hakgala Botanical gardens and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5 : NUWARA ELIYA – YALA(170Kms)


After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Yala, visit Yala National park , the Ruhunu National Park covers 126,786 hectares the strict Nature reserve block2, the most familiar is block 1(14,101 hectares) and this were established in 1938. Yala is famous for its big herds and large number of Elephants. Overnight stay at Yala.

Day 6 : YALA – GALLE (187kms)


After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Galle, The South Coast’s major city is Galle, whose oldest landmark is the massive Portuguese and Dutch Fort which is a “World Heritage Site” in which the central city is contained. But the city may be much older. Some scholars believe it to be the “Tarshish” of the Old Testament, to which King Solomon sent his merchant vessels, and to which Jonah fled from the Lord. Overnight stay at Galle.

Day 7 : GALLE


After breakfast at the hotel proceed to the sightseeing of Galle. The south coast’s major city is Galle whose oldest landmark is the massive Portuguese and Dutch Fort which is a “World Heritage Site” in which the central city is contained. But the city may be much older. Some scholars believe it to be the “Tarshish” of the Old Testament, to which King Solomon sent his merchant vessels, and to which Jonah fled from the Lord. Today, the 90-acre Galle Fort shows no evidence of the Portuguese founders. The Dutch incorporated the Portuguese northern wall in a great rampart in 1663. Day 8 : GALLE / COLOMBO – 130kms


Breakfast at Hotel, check out and drive to Colombo. On arrival check in at the hotel and later in the evening proceed to . Colombo City Tour Drive through the commercial and city centre area known as the Fort, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Visit the busy markets and bazaars of Pettah, visit a Buddhist and a Hindu temple, an old Dutch church and continue to the Cinnamon Gardens residential area. Drive past the Town Hall, Independence Square and the B.M.I.C.H (International Convention Centre). Shopping; (upon interest) Odel House of Fashion Stone-n-string Crescat Beverly Street Laksala etc Overnight stay at Hotel in Colombo. (Breakfast )

Day 9 : Fly Back Home


After Breakfast explore the City on your own and later proceed to the airport to board your flight to onwards destination. (Breakfast)
